Come to Balboa Pier to see Commodore Tom and the Pearl crew as they enter the starting area to cheer them on. Their start will likely be 11:00 (Exact time TBD).
Last year, Pearl finished Third in their class and this year we are expecting them to finish in the top 2 spots.
We need everyone who can to join us at the start to cheer them on, Our support is crucial to Pearl finishing first or second as sometimes the races are determined on a very close finish.
After they start, we would leave the Balboa Pier and drive to the border. We plan on parking on the US side, walk across the border to the bus station. The ABC bus has typically cost $11.00 for a ticket to Ensenada on a luxury bus. Then, once we arrive at the bus station in Ensenada, we can get dinner downtown or simply call for a Uber to take us to the Hotel Coral.
Strongly recommend you obtain a Global Entry pass (You need to apply now) for a fast re-entry back to the USA.
