Ahoy, SSYC’ers!
The “Summer Hibachi Series” continues every Wednesday, until August 28th. The 1st warning is at 1800 Hours. We’ll be on “Molokai Girl” that will pick us up at SLIP 18 at Marina Park at 1600 W. Balboa Boulevard. You will need to be there on the dock at 5:00 PM as we depart at 5:15 PM for the starting area Westerly of Harbor Island.
If you’d like to join us on the Race Committee boat, now’s your chance. No experience required. It just takes a handful of people to run the two starts and record finish times.
So, if you’d simply like to get out on the water, watch the racing and enjoy dinner and drinks in Newport Harbor, that’s okay, too. You’re responsible for your own dinner, drinks and rubber-soled shoes. No red wine, please, as a spill can stain the deck.
If you’d like to be on the Race Committee boat, please register ASAP as space is limited. Guests are welcome, but need to sign a waiver.
