Ahoy, SSYC’ers!
The first race of the Sunday Sailing Series is scheduled for Sunday, September 20th with the 1st Warning at 1255 Hours.
The Race Committee is going to once again conduct Race Operations from the Coral Street Public Dock.
Staff Commodore Tom Noto and I will be conducting Race Operations and we could use some help.
You would need to be on the dock no later than 12:30 to help with the start. After the boats have started, you may walk over to the Village Inn for food and drink.
After the boats have finished, we’ll head over to the yacht club to meet with our racers and score the race.
Please register ASAP if you can help out with race management.
Thanks!

John Marshall has the following recommendation:
It will probably be rocky while we are out to sea .
Suggestions if you feel that you may get sea sick.
1. Sea sick medication usually doesn't work if you take it when you feel sick
2. Read your medication instructions and follow the directions.
3. Stay on the upper decks - do not sit in the cabin
4. Skip breakfast or eat a banana (fruit) instead.
5. Lunch will be available aboard Molokai Girl - Delay your lunch and eat when we are ready to return to Newport.
6. Lunch ( provided by SSYC) will consist of Cheese and crackers, Make your own Turkey or Cheese Sandwich, salad and cookies.

It will be a great day
